Technical Coordinator – Landscaping ProjectsGCL is seeking a proactive and technically competent Technical Coordinator – Landscape to support the successful delivery of landscape and public realm projects.The role focuses on technical coordination, submission tracking, procurement follow-up, and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure landscaping works are delivered in compliance with project specifications, DMT requirements, authority standards, and project schedules.The Technical Coordinator will work closely with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth technical communication, manage submissions, and ensure timely approvals and delivery of project milestones.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and track technical submissions including shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and landscape technical documentation.Assist the Project Manager in preparing and updating project schedules, submission trackers, and coordination plans.Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely submission, approval, and delivery of landscape materials and technical documents.Monitor consultant comments and approval status and ensure timely resubmissions to avoid project delays.Review drawings and documents to identify coordination issues between landscape, irrigation, infrastructure, and architectural elements.Maintain and update technical logs including submission trackers, RFI logs, and material approval records.Coordinate procurement activities to ensure approved materials are delivered according to project requirements and construction schedules.Support site teams in resolving technical coordination issues during construction activities.Participate in technical coordination meetings and progress meetings, ensuring all actions are documented and followed up.Assist in preparing technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates for management and stakeholders.Identify potential project risks, delays, or coordination conflicts and assist in developing mitigation measures.Ensure compliance with project specifications, DMT requirements, and relevant authority standards.Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape project coordination within contracting companies.Experience in landscape construction including hardscape, irrigation systems, planting, and public realm works.Experience working on large-scale landscape, park, or infrastructure projects.Experience in Abu Dhabi projects is highly preferred.Good knowledge of Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) requirements and Abu Dhabi authority standards.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of landscape construction processes, materials, and installation methods.Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings, engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs.Experience in technical submissions and coordination with consultants and project teams.Familiarity with project scheduling, procurement coordination, and document tracking systems.Knowledge of landscape materials including hardscape, irrigation systems, planting materials, and soil specifications.Professional SkillsExcellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in fast-paced project environments.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
