Job Description
Job Description Role Overview:
You will be responsible for implementing process excellence initiatives to enhance process efficiency, controls, and effectiveness across all teams in the Operations department. This includes overseeing various LOBs such as C&I, Emerging Businesses & Mortgages, and Retail Unsecured assets that conduct high-value structured transactions with diverse customer segments through different distribution channels. Your role will involve maintaining existing SOPs, identifying process improvement opportunities, conducting internal and external audits, managing risk and internal controls, handling MIS/reporting and reconciliation, and assisting in project management activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing SOPs and develop new ones for new products/operations processes
- Monitor TAT and generate FTR reports
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with the Team Leader
- Implement Kaizen, quality circles, green belt projects, and activities across Operations teams
- Create audit plans and calendars, define checklists, conduct internal audits, and share outcomes with process owners
- Facilitate external operations audits by gathering data and supporting corrective actions implementation
- Record and implement internal controls, maintain incident records, and conduct ongoing risk testing
- Generate MIS and reports on audits, process development, and improvement initiatives
- Cross-verify physical collaterals, track open entries, and liaise with banks for entry identification
- Assist in handling adhoc/directives projects, ascertain roadblocks, and drive digitization & automation of audit processes
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.
- Experience in internal audit, risk management, and project management
- Proficiency in MIS reporting and reconciliation processes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
