Because why not do it all?</p><h3>What to Expect</h3><p>As a Team Leader you will be responsible for managing various sections within the Service and Hose Channel to ensure all service needs of an organization are met by offering on‑time services and support. You will contribute towards achieving the business plans of the Service Channel, including Hydraulics&Hose Workshop, Marine, Project, Chemical, Piping, Pneumatics, and Workshop operations, while maintaining cost, quality, and safety parameters.</p><h3>Essential Duties And Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Responsible to manage Hydraulics&Hose Workshops, Marine, Project, Chemical, Piping and Pneumatics sections of Service Channel.</li><li>Manage and develop the Service&Workshop Team, overall responsible for field&workshop service team in achieving service scopes and objectives.</li><li>Conduct regular meetings with supervisors on day‑to‑day activities for planning and scheduling.</li><li>Review and approve scope of work and costing sheets complied by the Supervisors.</li><li>Job progress is closely monitored and measures are taken for shortcomings.</li><li>Control&reduce undesired expenses, ensuring all projects are within estimated costs while ensuring optimum customer satisfaction.</li><li>Plan&manage human resources, plant equipment&other utilities, ensuring optimum production/service capability.</li></ul><h3>Keys to Success</h3><ul><li>Requires understanding and application of procedures and practices within own area and basic knowledge of other areas.</li><li>Understands how the team relates to other closely related teams to improve efficiency.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Hydraulic Products and Services related to Oil&Gas and Marine sectors.</li><li>Knowledge of Application Engineering in Marine and Oil&Gas environment.</li><li>Knowledge of Hydraulic Engineering related products and applications.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals and documents.</li></ul><h3>Supervisory Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>7+ direct reports of technicians and/or production staff.</li><li>Has formal supervisory responsibilities; sets priorities for and coaches associates to meet deadlines.</li><li>Has performance management and people development responsibility for associates under their care.</li><li>Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize the activities.</li><li>Ability to learn and lead the implementation of new applications and systems.</li><li>Ability to resolve complex problems.</li></ul><h3>Requirements And Preferred Skills</h3><ul><li>2‑4 years of experience.</li></ul><h3>Why Gates?</h3><p>Founded in 1911 in Denver, Colorado, Gates is publicly traded on the NYSE.
