Team Lead - Radar System Engineering

<div><p>PULSE, the joint venture between EDGE and INDRA, is seeking an experienced and strategic Radar Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of advanced radar systems for defense applications.</p><p>This role involves leading a multidisciplinary engineering team across the full system lifecycle—from architecture definition and simulation to integration and validation—while ensuring compliance with rigorous military standards. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in modern radar technologies with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, enabling successful execution of complex programs and shaping future radar innovation.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><b>Lead and supervise a team of radar engineers across design, simulation, integration, and validation phases</b></li><li><b>Define radar system architecture and ensure technical coherence across RF, antenna, and digital subsystems</b></li><li>Plan resources, assign tasks, and monitor execution to meet defense program requirements</li><li>Oversee simulation campaigns for performance metrics (range, Doppler, SNR, detection probability)</li><li>Act as main interface with program managers, customers, and government representatives</li><li>Ensure compliance with military standards (<b>MIL-STD-810</b>,<b>MIL-STD-461</b>) and internal quality frameworks</li><li>Identify technical risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure continuous process improvement</li><li>Drive strategic decision on radar technology roadmap and investment priorities</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li><b>Minimum 8+ years in radar engineering, with at least 3 in leadership roles in radar system design, integration, and testing</b></li><li><b>Proven success in radar design, simulation, integration in defense or aerospace programs</b></li><li><b>Expertise in radar architecture (Pulsed, FMCW, AESA) and advanced signal/data processing</b></li><li>Hands‑on experience with radar test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)</li><li>Solid background in modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, ADS, CST)</li><li>Experience managing cross‑functional teams in complex system development</li><li>Familiarity with requirements traceability and verification matrices</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company in technical reviews</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
