Team Lead - Radar System Engineering

PULSE, the joint venture between EDGE and INDRA, is seeking an experienced and strategic Radar Engineering Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of advanced radar systems for defense applications.This role involves leading a multidisciplinary engineering team across the full system lifecycle—from architecture definition and simulation to integration and validation—while ensuring compliance with rigorous military standards. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in modern radar technologies with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, enabling successful execution of complex programs and shaping future radar innovation.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of radar engineers across design, simulation, integration, and validation phasesDefine radar system architecture and ensure technical coherence across RF, antenna, and digital subsystemsPlan resources, assign tasks, and monitor execution to meet defense program requirementsOversee simulation campaigns for performance metrics (range, Doppler, SNR, detection probability)Act as main interface with program managers, customers, and government representativesEnsure compliance with military standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461) and internal quality frameworksIdentify technical risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure continuous process improvementDrive strategic decision on radar technology roadmap and investment prioritiesRequirementsMinimum 8+ years in radar engineering, with at least 3 in leadership roles in radar system design, integration, and testingProven success in radar design, simulation, integration in defense or aerospace programsExpertise in radar architecture (Pulsed, FMCW, AESA) and advanced signal/data processingHands‑on experience with radar test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes)Solid background in modeling tools (MATLAB/Simulink, Python, ADS, CST)Experience managing cross‑functional teams in complex system developmentFamiliarity with requirements traceability and verification matricesStrong communication skills and ability to represent the company in technical reviews#J-18808-Ljbffr
