OverviewEnglish TeacherWe are seeking a dynamic and passionate English Teacher to join our prestigious school in Doha, Qatar. As an international school, we have a diverse student body with students from various backgrounds, including Pakistani and African students. We are looking for a teacher who can effectively teach English to non-native speakers and create an inclusive learning environment for all students.ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of non-native speakers.Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote active learning.Develop lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that align with the curriculum standards.Monitor student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance.Create a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity.Collaborate with other teachers to develop cross-curricular projects that integrate English language skills with other subject areas.Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child\'s progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences when necessary.QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Education or relevant field.Teaching certification or license from an accredited institution.Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, preferably with non-native English speakers.Excellent command of the English language with the ability to teach grammar, writing, reading, listening, speaking skills effectively.Knowledge of different teaching methods and techniques for teaching English as a second language.Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and levels.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.Flexibility to adapt to a multicultural environment.LocationThis position is based in Doha, Qatar.
