Aldar Education is currently seeking a Teacher – Humanities to support our growing family of schools, joining at the start of the 2026/2027 academic year in August. To deliver high quality teaching and inclusive learning experiences that spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and support students’ academic, social, and personal development.ResponsibilitiesTo deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.Roles and ResponsibilitiesTeamwork and collaborationTo be a good communicator at all levelsBe committed to developing positive relationships with all members of the school communityWork alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirementsLiaise with colleagues and work flexiblyWork with parents to ensure children’s happiness and best academic outcomesCooperate with curriculum support staff (where applicable) to support children’s developmentTeaching and LearningClear understanding of the curriculumOrganise classroom provision, learning resources, and create displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environmentPlan, prepare, and present sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the classMotivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teachingObserve and assess children in line with school assessmentsReflect on classroom provision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjust environment, planning, and curriculum accordinglyMeet with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists when requiredEnsure the Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes are embedded throughout the curriculumAssessment and DataTake responsibility for the progress of a classMeet assessment requirements and record student development using Target TrackerUse data from assessments to influence further planning, provision, and interventionProvide feedback to parents and carers on student progress at Parent‑Teacher Conferences and other meetingsBehaviour Management and DutiesFollow the school’s behaviour policyManage classes effectively, using approaches appropriate to students’ needs to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupilsMaintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary within the school’s behavioural policyBe a positive role model and consistently demonstrate the positive attitudes, values, and behaviour expected of pupilsHave high expectations of behaviour, promoting self‑control and independence of all learnersCarry out duties as directed and within the school’s policyWider Professional ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a curriculum action group, supporting planning, assessment, resources, and special events linked to that teamSupport organising and participating in school events, outings, and activities that may take place on weekends or in the eveningCommunicate effectively with parents/carers regarding students’ achievements and wellbeing using school systems/processes such as CPOMSMake a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school; run a weekly ECA each termQualificationsMinimum QualificationBachelor’s degree in a related subject with PGCE or another teacher qualificationMinimum ExperienceMinimum 1–2 years of teaching experienceJob Specifics, Knowledge & SkillsPrevious experience working with students whose English is not their first languagePassion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole childA high level of professionalism and consideration of the wellbeing of childrenRecent and consistent involvement in extra‑curricular activitiesRespect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age an
