Key responsibilities include supporting activities related to project planning, financial management, tracking, reporting, and governance. Candidates for this position are expected to possess a solid understanding of project management methodologies, exhibit exceptional communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement. Furthermore the ability to independently develop and implement innovative solutions and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination and SupportDeliver comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Function ensuring seamless day‑to‑day operations.Assist in the formulation and maintenance of project plans, schedules and essential documentation.Collaborate with project managers to monitor milestones, deliverables and financial metrics.Facilitate effective communication across project teams and stakeholders fostering alignment and promoting collaboration.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare and maintain detailed project status reports, financial reports, dashboards and other critical operational documentation to support informed decision‑making.Ensure all project documentation is meticulously updated, accurately maintained and complies with firm‑wide policies and standards.Contribute to the enhancement of project management processes and tools promoting operational efficiency and excellence.Governance and ComplianceSupport the implementation and adherence to operational policies, procedures and standards to uphold governance and compliance requirements.Assist in monitoring project compliance with internal methodologies and frameworks ensuring alignment with organisational standards.Resource ManagementProvide assistance in the efficient management and allocation of project resources optimizing their utilisation to meet project goals.Support capacity planning and resource forecasting to ensure resource availability aligns with project demands.Stakeholder EngagementAct as a critical liaison between the Operations Function and project managers ensuring transparent and effective communication across all parties.Assist in managing stakeholder expectations by implementing robust engagement strategies that enhance collaboration and satisfaction.Play an instrumental role in organising and facilitating team‑wide communications and events strengthening the sense of unity and purpose within the team.Required SkillsDemonstrated expertise in project management or roles providing project support.Comprehensive understanding of project management principles, methodologies and certification standards (e.g. PMP).Advanced analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.Exceptional organisational abilities with a proven capacity to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.Proficiency in utilising the Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Project).Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills enabling effective teamwork in diverse environments.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills suitable for professional contexts.Working ConditionsThe Operations Function Support Specialist will work in an office environment.
