OverviewJob Title: Systems Engineer (Public Cloud) South GulfLocation: Dubai (UAE)As a member of the Fortinet International Emerging Markets (IEM) public cloud team you will work closely with the sales team to position Fortinet solutions in public cloud, assist field Systems Engineers in their projects, and report product evolution requests to Product teams.ResponsibilitiesMember of the public cloud team which covers the International Emerging Markets regionSecond level of presales support assisting the SE organizationIn responding to RFPs/RFIs: design solution specification and product informationIn supporting key projects to ensure Fortinet successIn leading technical discussions articulating the technology and demonstrating differentiated valueIn conducting compelling solution presentations and demonstrationsIn conducting Proof Of Concepts (POCs) either directly with the customer or supporting account SEs or Fortinet partners with the sameOther responsibilities:In charge of building technical material to support sales activities and design workshopsSpread product knowledge to the Fortinet Sales Team and Fortinet Channels in the regionPoint of contact for technical interactions with Public Cloud Providers (AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, Google, or Alibaba)Participate in seminars as a Public Cloud Subject Matter ExpertTravel as required in the IEM regionBeing able to self-start and understand the addressable market for designated technologies (Public Cloud)Participate in the development of commercial strategiesWork closely with Product Managers and peer CSEs to provide input on product direction and strategyPoint of contact for the Product Management team: report and consolidate customer needs across IEM, validate business cases, write and prioritize feature requestsRequired Skills and Technical ExperienceExtensive Networking Security presales experience including hands-on experienceHands-on experience with one or more of the following public cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud InfrastructureExperience in public speaking, excellent presentation and demo skillsThree to Five years of experience with cloud solutions and/or virtual platformsKnowledge in modern software architecture using CI/CD, DevOps tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, Azure ARM); Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Scalability and API-first strategyWorking knowledge of Python, Terraform, YAML or other programming or scripting languages will be an advantageCloud certifications such as CSSP, Azure Security Architect, AWS Solution Architect or GCP Cloud Architect are a plusA self-motivated independent thinkerEducationBachelors degree or equivalent experience in network security industry with 5 years of experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
