Job Description Urgent hiring for System Engineer - Ahmedabad Job Title: Chief System Engineer Location: Ahmedabad (On-site) Experience Required: 3-6 Years CTC Range: upto 8 lpa Depends on interview Working Days- 6 Days About the Role We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Systems Engineer to lead the end-to-end systems architecture, integration, and technical governance of our reusable launch vehicle (RLV) program. The ideal candidate will drive system-level design, ensure cross-functional alignment, and oversee the full lifecycle of launch vehicle development from concept to flight operations and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Lead overall system architecture and technical strategy for reusable rocket systems. Define system requirements, performance budgets, and verification plans. Ensure integration across propulsion, structures, avionics, GNC, thermal, recovery, and ground systems. Establish and manage configuration control, risk management, and change management processes. Oversee system-level testing, qualification, and validation activities. Drive reliability, safety, redundancy, and reusability standards across subsystems. Conduct design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, FRR) and ensure compliance with mission objectives. Collaborate with propulsion, manufacturing, mission operations, and supply chain teams. Support launch campaigns, flight readiness assessments, and post-flight data analysis. Mentor engineering leads and build a strong systems engineering culture. Required Qualifications: Masters or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. 03-06 years of experience in launch vehicle, missile, or complex aerospace system development. Proven experience in systems architecture, requirement management, and integration. Strong understanding of reusable launch vehicle concepts and recovery sys tems. Experience with DOORS or similar requirement management tools. Knowledge of propulsion systems (liquid engines preferred), avionics, and structural systems. Experience leading large multidisciplinary engineering teams. Preferred Skills: Prior involvement in reusable rocket programs or orbital-class launch vehicles. Familiarity with ISRO or commercial launch vehicle standards. Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making capabilities. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and FMEA.
