Job Description Job Description You are an experienced CICS System Programmer with solid hands-on expertise in CICS system programming on IBM z/OS environments. Your role requires deep technical knowledge of CICS internals, configuration, installation, maintenance, and performance tuning. This is not an operations or monitoring role. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, customize, and upgrade IBM CICS Transaction Server on z/OS - Perform CICS region setup and management, including AOR/FOR/TOR configurations - Define and manage CICS resources using RDO / CSD / DFHCSDUP - Administer and support CICSPlex SM environments - Handle CICS-related SMP/E maintenance, PTFs, and version upgrades - Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for CICS regions - Diagnose and resolve CICS system-level issues, abends, dumps, and performance problems - Work closely with z/OS system programmers, application teams, and middleware teams - Ensure high availability, stability, and compliance of CICS environments - Participate in on-call support for critical CICS incidents Qualifications Required - Robust hands-on experience in CICS System Programming prefer to have Plex exposure - In-depth knowledge of IBM z/OS - Solid understanding of CICS architecture and internals - Experience with SMP/E for CICS maintenance - Robust problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Job Description You are an experienced CICS System Programmer with solid hands-on expertise in CICS system programming on IBM z/OS environments.
