Sustaining Engineer

Our client a major Oil & Gas company in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire a Sustainability Engineer to be part of their Manufacturing unit.Key Responsibilities and DutiesNon-conformance Evaluation and Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose and resolve manufacturing and customer-reported issues, performing investigations into component failures or product performance problems.Engineering Change Management: Process engineering change orders (ECOs) and modify designs, CAD models, and assembly procedures for improvements or fixes.Component Obsolescence & Supply Chain Support: Identify and qualify replacements for parts that are no longer available to ensure production continuity.Process Improvement & Cost Reduction: Actively identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce product costs through design optimization.Technical Documentation: Maintain and update product documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineeringExperience: 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in product design, sustaining, or similar roles.Problem‑Solving and Decision‑Making Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root‑cause investigation.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CreoSE), PLM systems, and Engineering CalculationsCommunication: Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers, and internal teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
