Sustaining Engineer

<div><p>Our client a major Oil&Gas company in Saudi Arabia is looking to hire a Sustainability Engineer to be part of their Manufacturing unit.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities and Duties</h3><ul><li><b>Non-conformance Evaluation and Root Cause Analysis:</b>Diagnose and resolve manufacturing and customer-reported issues, performing investigations into component failures or product performance problems.</li><li><b>Engineering Change Management:</b>Process engineering change orders (ECOs) and modify designs, CAD models, and assembly procedures for improvements or fixes.</li><li><b>Component Obsolescence&Supply Chain Support:</b>Identify and qualify replacements for parts that are no longer available to ensure production continuity.</li><li><b>Process Improvement&Cost Reduction:</b>Actively identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce product costs through design optimization.</li><li><b>Technical Documentation:</b>Maintain and update product documentation, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and technical specifications.</li><li><b>Cross-functional Collaboration:</b>Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills and Qualifications</h3><ul><li><b>Education:</b>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering</li><li><b>Experience:</b>3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in product design, sustaining, or similar roles.</li><li><b>Problem‑Solving and Decision‑Making Skills:</b>Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform root‑cause investigation.</li><li><b>Technical Knowledge:</b>Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., CreoSE), PLM systems, and Engineering Calculations</li><li><b>Communication:</b>Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers, and internal teams.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
