<div><h3>Role: Sustainability Officer</h3><p>Industry:<b>Glass Processing / Manufacturing</b></p><p>Salary:<b>AED 8,000 – AED 11,000 per month + Accommodation</b></p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead and implement sustainability initiatives across factory and office operations with a focus on environmental responsibility and resource efficiency.</li><li>Develop and monitor programs aimed at reducing energy consumption, water usage, and environmental impact per unit of production.</li><li>Track and report sustainability metrics, environmental performance indicators, and improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and relevant government guidelines.</li><li>Coordinate with government authorities, NGOs, and industry bodies to stay updated on sustainability regulations and best practices.</li><li>Support the organization in obtaining sustainability certifications and maintaining environmental compliance documentation.</li><li>Conduct sustainability audits and assessments across production facilities and identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Train and engage employees to adopt environmentally responsible practices and participate in sustainability initiatives.</li><li>Promote awareness and implementation of sustainable practices within factory operations and employee accommodation facilities.</li><li>Represent the company in sustainability forums, industry discussions, and client engagements related to environmental initiatives.</li><li>Work closely with operations teams to implement environmentally responsible processes within the manufacturing environment.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or resource efficiency programs within a manufacturing or industrial environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability standards, and environmental compliance requirements.</li><li>Experience in implementing sustainability initiatives such as energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, or carbon footprint reduction.</li><li>Familiarity with sustainability reporting, audits, and environmental performance tracking.</li><li>Ability to coordinate with government authorities and external stakeholders on environmental matters.</li><li>Strong communication and training skills to promote sustainability awareness among employees.</li><li>Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments will be preferred; exposure to the glass processing industry will be an added advantage.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
