Job Code345/001/303IndustryModular ConstructionCore BusinessConstruction, Tents Manufacturing & Installation, Mobile Halls & Temporary Structures RentalsJob BriefThe Supply Chain Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and supplier management. The role ensures the timely and cost-effective supply of materials and services to support operational delivery while maintaining compliance, quality, and risk management standards. This role owns the Group’s end-to-end supply chain governance, ensuring standardization, transparency, and strategic sourcing across all factories, projects, and business units.Supply Chain Strategy & PlanningDevelop and implement the supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.Forecast demand and plan procurement, inventory, and logistics requirements.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize supply chain performance.Procurement & Supplier ManagementManage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.Own framework agreements and long-term supplier partnerships.Lead high-value and high-risk contract negotiations.Drive localization strategy and dual-sourcing models.Inventory & Warehouse ManagementManage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and warehouse operations.Ensure accuracy of inventory records, stock reconciliation, and reporting.Optimize storage, handling, and material control processes.Logistics & DistributionOversee inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and distribution.Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to projects/sites.Manage freight, customs, and logistics cost control.Quality, Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and internal controls.Manage supply chain risks, including disruption, supplier dependency, quality issues, and cost volatility.Support audits and governance reviews related to supply chain operations.Financial Management & Cost ControlManage supply chain budget, cost savings initiatives, and spend analysis.Optimize working capital through inventory management and supplier payment terms.Ensure accurate financial reporting of procurement and inventory costs.Leadership & Team ManagementLead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.Establish clear performance objectives and KPIs for the function.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability.Design and maintain an optimal supply chain organizational structure.Build succession planning for key roles.Drive capability building in procurement, planning, and logistics.Lead change management for digital transformation initiatives.Production & Factory IntegrationAlign procurement and inventory planning with factory production schedules.Ensure raw material availability for uninterrupted manufacturing.Implement MRP logic within ERP for steel, aluminum, PVC, and prefab lines.Reduce WIP and idle time due to material shortages.Key RelationshipsChief Operating Officer (COO) / Operations LeadershipFinance / Cost ControlProject Managers / Site OperationsProcurement & Purchasing TeamsWarehouse & Logistics TeamsSuppliers & SubcontractorsQuality Assurance (QA/QC)Legal & ComplianceIT / ERP SystemsJob RequirementsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.Professional certification preferred (e.g., CIPS, APICS/CPIM, CSCP).ExperienceMinimum 7–10 years of progressive supply chain experience.Proven experience in procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier management.Experience in a project-based or industrial environment is preferred.Skills & CompetenciesStrong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent planning, forecasting, and analytical abilities.Strong leadership and team development capabilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.Performance Indicators (KPIs)Material availability rate vs production planProcurement cycle time (PR → PO → Delivery)Cost variance vs BOQ / project baselineSupplier concentration risk indexObsolete & slow-moving inventory ratioWorking ConditionsOffice-based with frequent site/project visits.May require travel between sites and suppliers.Requires a high level of coordination across multiple stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
