Supervisor Automation

ResponsibilitiesSupervise the installation testing and commissioning of automation systems control panels PLCs DCS SCADA and instrumentation devices.Coordinate with engineers subcontractors and technicians to ensure smooth execution of work as per approved schedules and drawings.Review and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings P&IDs loop diagrams and cable schedules.Ensure proper calibration and configuration of field instruments such as transmitters control valves switches and sensors.Oversee wiring termination and connection of control and instrumentation systems.Monitor the progress of automation works and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.Ensure compliance with HSE policies safe work procedures and quality standards.Assist in troubleshooting testing and commissioning of automation and control systems.Verify the installation and integration of automation systems with other disciplines.Supervise and train technicians and foremen to maintain high work quality and efficiency.Support the preparation of material take-offs job estimates and as-built documentation.QualificationsDiploma / Degree in Electrical Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering.Minimum 58 years of experience in E&I and automation works preferably in Oil & Gas / Industrial / EPC projects.Hands‑on experience with PLC/DCS systems (Siemens ABB Schneider or Yokogawa preferred).Strong knowledge of field instrumentation control loops and communication protocols (Modbus Profibus Ethernet).Familiar with international standards such as IEC ISA and IEEE.Good communication leadership and problem-solving skillsAdditional InformationFamiliarity with ADNOC offshore procedures and work permit systems.Ability to manage multiple activities and teams under tight deadlines.Strong commitment to HSE and quality assurance.Flexibility to work at project sites and offshore/onshore environments as required.Remote WorkNoEmployment TypeContract#J-18808-Ljbffr
