Subject Matter Expert - Data Regulations & Licensing-3 Month Contract

Mullers Solutions is seeking a highly experienced "Subject Matter Expert (SME)" in data product licensing, certifications, and policy/regulatory frameworks to support a strategic government initiative in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The SME will play a critical role in advising, designing, and developing comprehensive data policies and regulations aligned with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), international data governance standards, and local certification requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine data product licensing frameworks and operating modelsDraft, review, and validate data-related policies and regulatory documentsAlign regulatory documentation with PDPL, SAMA, NCA, and other relevant compliance frameworksSupport design of certification roadmaps (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 27701)Conduct stakeholder workshops and provide expert guidance to the client's policy and data governance teamsBenchmark against regional and global data protection standardsRequirements8+ years of experience in data governance, policy advisory, or regulatory consultingStrong knowledge of Saudi PDPL, international data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA), and certification frameworksProven track record of working with or advising government or public-sector entities in KSA or GCCProfessional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27001 LA, or equivalent are highly desirableArabic fluency is a plusBenefitsWhy Join Us: Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.Competitive salary and benefits package.Exciting projects and innovative work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
