Subcontracts Administration Engineer

OverviewRotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid)Excellent salary package with benefitsSingle Status.Accommodation provided by the company.Transportation provided by the company.Round trip ticket on each rotation (Economy class).ResponsibilitiesThe Quantity Surveyor inputs and accounts the works performed by Subcontractors in the specific data base, and handles any deviations from budget values.Check in detail the accounting submitted by the Subcontractors for "unit prices Subcontracts"; in particular verify quantities (to be calculated in accordance with the drawings issued for construction and in accordance with the Special Preamble to Prices and Methods of Measurement Civil Works defined in the Subcontract).Ensure the correct application of unit prices (to be in accordance with the contract price list, and Subcontract requirements) and ensure the accuracy of all calculations (arithmetic).Assist the Subcontracts Administration Manager with the evaluation and verification of extra works and obtain the Client’s approval.Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with other Subcontract Administration activities as required.Assist Subcontracts Administration Manager with the preparation of backup documents for the Payment Certificates.Expedite and ensure timely receipt of accountings and other deliverables from Subcontractors.Maintain proper filing of all Subcontracts and accounting documents.Knowledge & QualificationsUniversity Degree or Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalentExperienceSimilar role covered at least in last three projects of comparable size;Proven past experience on Civil and Building construction activities;Relevant experience in construction/modernisation of industrial/Refinery sector/EPC projects large plants;Minimum of 10 years of experience in the specific discipline;Experience working on Contractor side.Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communications and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail, management skills.Team-oriented skills, self-motivation, and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.#J-18808-Ljbffr
