Structural Engineer

<div><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Ensure contract compliance, quality control (QC), and quality assurance (QA) for structural aspects of the project.</li><li>Analyze applicable codes, standards, and project contract documents to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance.</li><li>Interpret and clarify contract documents for contractors, resolving any discrepancies or issues.</li><li>Maintain and prepare various records, including daily/weekly progress reports, material accounting records, change orders, and record drawings.</li><li>Supervise, direct, and coordinate the inspection team, conducting weekly meetings with inspectors and the Project Engineer.</li><li>Assist the Senior Discipline Engineer in identifying, responding to, and evaluating technical issues to maintain the project schedule.</li><li>Highlight violations of construction/engineering-related issues on site through the issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).</li><li>Attend progress review and coordination meetings to assist in resolving site issues and liaise with the Design Engineer on modifications if required.</li><li>Participate in snagging and project handover processes, providing expert knowledge and support to ensure smooth project completion.</li><li>Monitor health and safety practices on construction works, reporting issues and stopping work if unsafe practices are observed.</li></ul><h3>Job Details</h3><ul><li>Role Level: Associate</li><li>Work Type: Full-Time</li><li>Country: United Arab Emirates</li><li>City: Ras Al Khaimah</li><li>Company Website: http://www.aecom.com</li><li>Job Function: Engineering</li><li>Industry/Sector: IT Services and IT Consulting and Software Development</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
