STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL SPECIAL FACILITY

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer/Civil Coordinator to oversee civil engineering coordination for 220kV and 33kV GIS substations (ESF area). The ideal professional will have 10-15 years of experience working with consultants or contractors on recently completed 220kV or 400kV substations within TRANSCO/utility projects.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate civil engineering scope for substation infrastructure foundations, cable trenches, equipment pads, and structure integration.Review and validate civil designs (ETABS/SAFE) interfacing closely with substation layout, electrical, and structural teams to ensure constructability and compliance.Liaise with consultants, contractors, and TRANSCO stakeholders through site execution and handover phases.Provide inputs for foundation design, soil investigation review, and civil detailing aligned with TRANSCO standards.Support project planning, progress tracking, and preparation of civil deliverables including RFQs, BOQs, and interim reports.Maintain high quality control standards and ensure all civil execution meets technical specifications and safety guidelines.Key Qualifications10-15 years of relevant experience in civil coordination for high-voltage substations (220kV or higher) preferably within TRANSCO projects.Bachelor's or Master's in Civil / Structural Engineering.Proficiency in ETABS and SAFE is mandatory.Available to work on-site full-time in the Abu Dhabi office.Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Knowledgeable in GCC substation civil standards and regulatory compliance.VERTICAL ENGINEERING#J-18808-Ljbffr
