Structural Design Engineer

Well-regarded regional architecture and engineering firm has been based in UAE for over 30 years and has established operations around Central Asia. With a range of designed and delivered projects, from residential, mixed use, commercial highrise and masterplan schemes.Currently they seek a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join their Sharjah studio in November.ResponsibilitiesThis Engineer will be responsible for design of complex structures, highrise initially, from conceptual design to construction stages. Working in a team environment, this individual will be able to present to clients, work alongside consultancies to develop designs, assist the internal design team of architects and engineers, and liaise with external sub consultants and contractors.QualificationsWith around 10 years working experience, post a Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering, having designed and documented complex structures in the Middle East, namely UAE. This person will be expert in ideally highrise design and/or have Unlimited Licence from Sharjah Municipality. Excellent knowledge of UAE building codes and construction knowledge essential, as is strong communication skills, I.e Written and Oral English.
