Job Description
Job Description As a Lead Analyst Strategic Finance & Investor Relations, you will be at the intersection of financial analysis, strategic planning, and investor communications. You will work closely with leadership to support financial decision-making, business performance tracking, and interface with external stakeholders including investors.
What You'll Do:
- Help define and model medium and long term financial plan/strategy of the company
- Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to drive quarterly forecasts and department level frameworks for Annual Operating Plan
- Analyze past to present financial performance, derive insights, and help make data-backed recommendations
- Support investor relations by preparing investor presentations, memos, and quarterly Board meeting materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations to align business strategy with financial goals
- Track and report key metrics (e.g., SaaS KPIs, ARR, CAC, etc) and prepare dashboards for leadership and investors
- Benchmark against market and competition; support strategic initiatives like M&A, etc.
- Drive ad-hoc strategy projects for CEO, COO, and CFO
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong understanding of finance, accounting, and business valuation concepts
- Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint, and storytelling through data
- Exceptional problem-solving and first-principles thinking
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written); ability to engage with VP/CXO stakeholders
- Education: Exposure to Finance & accounting subjects in Undergrad or Post-grad is a must. Specialization by way of CA, MBA (Finance), CFA, B.Com/BFIA (with finance background) is good to have but not a hard requirement
Good to Have:
- Experience in SaaS/Tech business models and understanding of key SaaS metrics
