<p>Job ID: 3199658 | Amazon Digital Services Private Limited - M86</p><p>We are seeking a strategic Principal Business Development Leader to drive customer acquisition and account growth for our Finance as a Service (FaaS) offerings. This role requires a customer-obsessed leader who can identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver measurable business impact. The Principal Business Development Manager serves as a trusted business advisor who influences senior leadership to make effective strategic and negotiation decisions.<br><br><br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Customer Acquisition<br><br>• Drive new customer acquisition by identifying and engaging prospective sellers and vendors who would benefit from FaaS offerings.<br>• Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to onboard additional customers, working backwards from their pain points to position our services effectively.<br>• Build compelling value propositions that address specific challenges faced by the customers<br>• Lead preliminary discussions and gauge partner interest<br><br><br>Strategic Leadership<br><br>• Define and lead business strategy development and idea generation for the organization<br>• Influence whether and how to enter new segments, businesses, or geographies<br>• Drive development and implementation of team or organization longer-term goals<br>• Lead company outreach efforts and significantly complex external engagements<br><br><br>Deal Structuring&Negotiation<br><br>• Serve as subject matter expert on deal structuring for business teams<br>• Effectively synthesize significantly complex partnership, negotiation, and strategy considerations into clear narratives for senior leaders (L10+)<br>• Write strategic documents with minimal oversight<br><br><br>Strategic Planning&Execution<br><br>• Influence business unit roadmaps and strategy through partnership strategy, negotiation tactics, and industry knowledge<br>• Develop business cases and commercial models<br>• Organize work, set priorities, and determine resource requirements<br>• Coordinate with own and other teams to accomplish goals and monitor progress<br></p><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><p>- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience<br>- 7+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience<br>- Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source</p><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><p>- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale<br>- Experience interfacing with customers (Enterprise, SMB, and Startups) and ability to convert customer requirements to high level architecture solutions to build on<br><br>Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
