Job Description

ResponsibilitiesManage inventory by tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and ensuring timely replenishment to avoid shortages.Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quality and quantity of goods against purchase orders to maintain accuracy.Organize and maintain the storage area, ensuring that items are easily accessible and properly labeled for efficient retrieval.Prepare and process orders for outgoing shipments, coordinating with various departments to meet delivery schedules.Utilize inventory management software to update stock records in real time, ensuring data accuracy and availability for reporting.Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal demand fluctuations.Implement safety and cleanliness protocols in the storage area to comply with health regulations and prevent workplace hazards.Assist in training new staff members on inventory management systems and best practices for stock handling.Generate regular reports on inventory status, including slow-moving items and potential stock discrepancies for management review.Maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution regarding inventory issues.#J-18808-Ljbffr
