Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timeJob ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings, structural layouts, and fabrication blueprints.Cut, shape, drill, and weld steel components for platforms, pipe supports, skids, walkways, frames, ladders, and other plant structures.Assemble and install structural steel elements based on design specifications and site requirements.Operate fabrication tools such as cutting torches, plasma cutters, grinders, drills, and welding machines.Perform welding (Arc, MIG, or TIG) or bolted connections in accordance with quality and safety standards.Align structures and components using levels, plumb bobs, and laser alignment tools.Ensure structures meet load-bearing and dimensional tolerances.Conduct repairs or reinforcements on damaged or corroded steel structures as needed.Collaborate with other trades such as pipe fitters, civil teams, and mechanical technicians for coordinated installations.Adhere strictly to safety regulations, PPE use, and site-specific work permits (e.g., hot work permits).Maintain tools and work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner.QualificationsHigh school diploma or vocational training in structural fabrication, metalwork, or related field.Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a structural fabricator in industrial projects (preferably water, oil & gas, or power sector).Strong understanding of structural steel standards (e.g., ASTM, AWS) and fabrication tolerances.Proficient in blueprint reading, cutting, fitting, tack welding, and final welding.Ability to work with carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and coated metals.Basic knowledge of rigging, lifting, and structural erection practices.#J-18808-Ljbffr
