Job SummaryMECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TEAM LEADERJob Responsibilities 1Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on rolling mill equipment (e.g., gearboxes, motors, hydraulic systems).Assist in installing new equipment, machinery, and systems.Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.Assist in ensuring compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards.Inform rolling mill technicians on mass variance set by quality control.Oversee the mechanical maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot-related issues, making necessary adjustments and repairs to ensureDevelop and implement maintenance plans and schedules for machinery and equipment.Adhere to safety regulations for working with heavy machinery, including lockout/tagout procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE).Participate in safety training sessions, audits, and initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe work environment.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.Prepare reports on maintenance metrics and present findings to management.
