We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steel Fixer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Steel Fixer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity of our construction projects by accurately placing and securing steel reinforcements.Read and interpret building plans engineering drawings and specifications to determine steel reinforcement requirementsSet out work areas and calculate material needs for each projectCut bend and shape steel bars and mesh using hand and power toolsPosition and secure steel bars mesh and other reinforcement materials in concrete formsTie and weld reinforcing bars to create sturdy frameworks for concrete structuresInstall spacers and supports to maintain proper positioning of reinforcementsCollaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper integration of steel reinforcements with other building componentsAdhere to all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environmentInspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specificationsMaintain tools and equipment in good working conditionQualificationsHigh School diploma ITI certification or relevant Technical Diploma in constructionMinimum of 5 years of experience as a Steel FixerProficiency in reading and interpreting building plans and technical drawingsExpertise in using hand and power tools for cutting bending and shaping steelIndepth knowledge of various types of steel reinforcements and their applicationsWelding skills and familiarity with different welding techniquesStrong understanding of construction safety regulations and practicesPhysical fitness and ability to lift heavy materialsComfort working at heights and in various weather conditions typical of DubaiExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipStrong teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently and meet project deadlinesFamiliarity with local building codes and standards in DubaiValid work permit for Dubai United Arab EmiratesAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFulltime#J-18808-Ljbffr
