With a dedication to excellence and innovation, we build trust as solid as our foundations.Job Purpose:The Steel Fixer is responsible for cutting, bending, placing, and fixing steel reinforcement bars (rebars) and mesh used in reinforced concrete structures, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret construction drawings, bar bending schedules, and specifications.Cut, bend, and shape steel reinforcement bars using hand tools, machines, or manual methods.Fix and tie reinforcement steel accurately using binding wire, clips, or other approved methods.Position and secure steel bars, mesh, and cages in concrete forms for foundations, slabs, beams, columns, walls, and precast elements.Ensure correct spacing, cover, alignment, and lap lengths as per drawings and engineering standards.Assist foreman and engineers during inspections by consultants or clients.Maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.Follow all site safety procedures, including the use of PPE at all times.Report material shortages, damaged bars, or discrepancies in drawings to the supervisor.Coordinate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.Perform tasks efficiently to meet daily and project-level targets.Health, Safety & Compliance:Comply with UAE Labor Law, site safety regulations, and company HSE policies.Participate in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inductions.Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses to the supervisor.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a Steel Fixer in construction projects.Experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or large-scale projects preferred.Ability to read basic construction drawings and bar bending schedules.Physically fit and able to work in site conditions.Knowledge of standard rebar sizes, shapes, and fixing techniques.Strong knowledge of reinforcement work and toolsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTime management and productivity focusSafety awarenessWorking Conditions:Site-based roleMay require overtime, night shifts, or weekend work based on project needsOutdoor work under varying weather conditionsEmployment Type:Full-Time / Project-Based· Immediate availability preferred· Basic English, Hindi/Urdu communication skillsJob SpecificationFAST FIXER CONTRACTING LLC is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Steel Fixer in the field of Other in one of their office located in DUBAI - United Arab Emirates.
