Our CX Intelligence platform powers social listening, customer engagement, and advanced analytics for leading brands across the region.We operate in a high-ownership engineering culture that values technical excellence, architectural rigor, and measurable business impact.Role OverviewWe are hiring a Staff Backend Engineer to act as a technical authority across Lucidya’s CX platform.This is not a senior IC role.You will:Own and drive architecture integrityLead final design and code reviewsInfluence cross-team technical directionEnsure systems meet scale, reliability, and security standardsThe ideal candidate combines deep hands‑on backend expertise with strong architectural judgment and mentorship capability.What You Will OwnDrive architectural decisions for high‑scale CX SaaS systemsConduct and sign off on final design and implementation reviewsBuild and evolve production‑grade backend services using Python or Ruby on RailsEnsure platform reliability, performance, and security at scalePartner closely with Product and AI teams to translate product vision into robust systemsMentor senior and mid‑level engineers and elevate engineering standardsIdentify and resolve systemic technical risks proactivelyChampion engineering best practices across teamsLeverage GenAI developer tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and deliver scalable, distributed backend systemsReview and approve architecture proposals and critical PRsGuide teams on microservices and event‑driven patternsOptimize system performance, cost, and reliabilityDrive improvements in CI/CD, observability, and DevOps maturitySupport secure, compliant deployments (enterprise‑grade expectations)Collaborate cross‑functionally to unblock complex initiativesRaise the technical bar through coaching and technical leadershipQualifications10+ years backend engineering experience in production SaaS environmentsProven hands‑on expertise in Python or Ruby on Rails at scaleDemonstrated ownership of large‑scale distributed systemsStrong experience with microservices and event‑driven architecturesDeep familiarity with AWS (or equivalent cloud platforms)Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes in productionStrong command of PostgreSQL and at least one of Redis / ElasticsearchProven record of technical leadership and mentorshipExcellent communication and stakeholder influence skillsPractical experience using GenAI coding tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve engineering velocityPreferred (Strong Plus)Experience building CX, social listening, or real‑time engagement platformsBackground in high‑growth startup environmentsExperience improving DevOps maturity and CI/CD pipelinesExposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, etc.)Public technical writing or open‑source contributionsExperience working in AI‑enabled product environmentsWhat Success Looks LikeIn the first 6 months, you will:Raise the bar on backend architecture qualityReduce technical risk across critical servicesImprove system scalability and reliabilityElevate team engineering standards through mentorshipInfluence cross‑team technical decisions with clarity and authority#J-18808-Ljbffr
