Senior Treasury SpecialistThe Senior Treasury Specialist is responsible for managing the company's cash flow, ensuring liquidity, optimizing investments, and mitigating financial risks. This role involves daily cash management, forecasting, banking relations, and compliance with financial regulations.Key AccountabilitiesMonitor and manage daily cash positions to ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirementsPrepare cash rolling forecasts and budgets. Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted cash flows and analyze financial data to inform strategic decisionsManage relationships with banks and other financial institutionsDevelop and implement investment strategies to optimize returns on surplus funds while monitoring and managing investment portfoliosIdentify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks, including currency and interest rate risksManage existing debt and arrange new debt when necessary. Maintain proper tracking tools for loan/interest repayments and ensure timely payment of interest and principal on loans and other borrowingsEnsure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to treasury activities. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholdersCalculate and record finance charges, ensuring monthly accrual for unbilled finance chargesConduct random validation of finance charges debited by banks to ensure correctness of charges in line with signed agreementsImplement and maintain treasury management systems. Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracyCollaborate with other departments such as accounting, finance, and operations to ensure cohesive financial management, providing support and guidance on treasury-related mattersRequirementsMinimum Qualifications and Knowledge: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Banking.
