Job DescriptionReporting to the regional sales organization, the Senior Territory Manager will be responsible for executing sales strategies and new unit and aftermarket service strategies to profitably grow revenue in line with annual growth plans. The role will also focus on growing customer service levels and relationships to drive business growth.ResponsibilitiesDeliver booking targets & growth strategies and manage bookings forecasting for assigned territories, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.Secure open opportunities using the selling processes.Work with channel partners to identify current or underserved accounts and develop selling strategies to optimize customer penetration, including direct interaction with end users.Provide technical consulting and commercial support to ensure booking targets are met in defined territories.Provide input on customer solutions & services offerings related to enhancing reliability and operational effectiveness for products.Develop detailed plans to deliver bookings & growth for territory within region in alignment with strategic plan.Work with internal organization to ensure channel partners have the skills & knowledge needed to sell products and services effectively.Stay informed on industry technology trends and standards.Work closely with RSMs, ASMs and facilities to understand customer requirements and ensure provision of value‑add solutions.Provide technical descriptions and content for proposals.Manage booking, forecasting, reporting and pipeline management.Perform key account relationship management.Responsible for safety, ethics and other legal compliance requirements in alignment with corporate policy.Provide a solution sales process to prospects through the Action Selling process.Develop & maintain prospect and customer list based on strategic marketing data and other sources for sales leads in CRM.Work with product line managers and internal services organizations to ensure channel/customers have necessary skills/knowledge to sell services effectively.QualificationsAbility to close open opportunities and utilize the sales process effectively.Excellent communication skills at all levels of an organization (internal/external).Experience selling rotating equipment in the upstream, midstream and downstream O&G market, as well as petrochemical.Knowledge of pump & compressor market and rotating equipment products.Channel/Distributor/EPC/Licensor experience.Experienced commercial negotiator.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in oil, gas, or chemical processing industry in a sales/service related position.Proficiency in presentation and customer relations.Experience with CRM and related software such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word.Desired CredentialsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.Demonstrated accomplishment in executing sales strategies.Strong analytical skill set and presentation skills.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Self‑motivation, multi‑tasking ability and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.Equal Opportunity Employer.
