Job Description Role Overview:
As a Senior Specialist with the Instrument Integration Product Team in Our Digital Manufacturing Value Team, you will be responsible for owning the technical solutions related to Digital capabilities supporting the global shopfloor analytical instruments within the Manufacturing Division. Reporting directly to the Instrument Integration Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the integration of various analytical instruments on the shopfloor and ensuring alignment across Automation & IT capital Project Managers globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the technical solutions for integrating shopfloor based analytical instruments.
- Coordinate and align a team of Automation & IT capital Project Managers worldwide.
- Oversee technical deliverables across Delivery squad teams including Technical Analysts, IT capital project managers, and automation and infrastructure engineers.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Divisions Digital Value Teams and Foundational Services Team to design, build, and deliver Technology Capabilities.
- Develop and maintain the Instrument Integration Technology Roadmap.
- Provide deep technical expertise and implement technical processes to enable solutions.
- Establish global standards for design and documentation across the validation lifecycle.
- Ensure integration of industry-accepted architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and concepts with those of allied domains.
- Support operational aspects of applications and work on enhancing operational resilience.
- Stay updated with technology trends and introduce modern best practices to IT.
- Develop a library of deployable and documented design patterns and reference architectures.
- Collaborate with technology vendors and work closely with key stakeholders in Digital Manufacturing Operations and Digital Quality and Labs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Biology, or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in laboratory system technology management and supporting IT infrastructure.
- 5+ years of work experience in a GxP laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Experience with analytical instruments like balances, pH/conductivity meters, spectrophotometers, etc., used on the shopfloor.
- Familiarity with environment monitoring technologies such as air particle counters.
- Proficiency in lab technology integration applications like LabX, Smartline Data Cockpit, etc.
- Experience in configuring scientific methods and collaborating with lab personnel to identify requirements.
