Sr Software Engineer Java

Job Description As a Java Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing development of our cloud-based web application projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Providing technical delivery of software as per the specifications and design guidelines. - Applying and integrating technologies such as Java, J2EE, AJAX, Web Services to conceptualize, design, develop, and unit test web-based or desktop applications. - Analyzing the requirements and assessing their impact on existing applications. - Communicating and collaborating effectively with the team. - Working with Leads to create scope estimates and feature technical specifications. Qualifications Required: - Strong experience in JAVA and J2EE technologies with a Cloud-based workplace. - Expert knowledge in JPA, Hibernate, JDBC, SQL, Spring Boot, JUnit, JSON, REST/JSON web services. - Knowledge of Java Design Patterns will be an added advantage. - Experience in developing applications with Agile team methodologies preferred. - Solid Object-Oriented design skills and understanding of MVC. - Sufficient experience with Git to organize a large software project with multiple developers, including branching, tagging, and merging. Desired Skills: - Experience in Azure or AWS cloud (PaaS) with Java is a plus. - Solid business application design skills. - Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. - Strong debugging skills. - Highly proficient in standard Java development tools (Eclipse, Maven, etc.). - A strong interest in building security into applications from the initial design. - Experience in creating technical project documentation and task time estimates.
