Sr Software Engineer - Java Fullstack

Job Description You are being sought after to join as a Java Full Stack Developer in Siemens Healthineers, focusing on JAVA and JavaScript development for cybersecurity tools. As a part of the development team, you will actively contribute to both internal and open-source tools, particularly in the realm of cybersecurity and OSS clearance. Notable projects you will work on include Eclipse SW360 and OWASP Dependency Track. Your responsibilities will include: - Enhancing the tools with new features, specifically focusing on cloud compatibility - Providing support in fixing bugs reported by external community and internal Siemens users - Creating more REST-API endpoints for seamless integration - Improving the quality of the developed tools through testing procedures To excel in this role, you are expected to meet the following qualifications: - Possess a University bachelors or masters degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent work experience - Have at least 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Web Developer - Demonstrate strong proficiency in JAVA 8/11 and the JavaScript ecosystem, along with experience in React.js - Have experience working with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL or CouchDB - Be familiar with microservices, REST APIs, Servlets, JSP, Spring, and Spring Boot - Showcase experience with contributions to GitHub - Exhibit familiarity with Linux operating systems - Possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication, and a highly collaborative approach.
