Sr. Product Manager – Compute Infrastructure

Job PurposeSr. Product Manager Compute Infrastructure is responsible for the technical solutioning on servers storage virtualization Backup and related services. Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements defining the solution as per the customer requirements. Works to define the product vision and customer satisfaction goals are metResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Sales team to provide full Product and Presales assistance in support of the successful achievement of sales targets.Illustrate the value of the companys solution to prospects in a compelling manner.Responsible for aligning companys capabilities (products and services) with client business requirements through a professional and ethical business approachParticipate in the completion of submitted RFI/RFP documents bid coordination prospect qualification discovery and requirements gathering product demonstrations technical discussions and design solution proposals.Promote and support sales opportunities into existing accounts and help to ensure that customers are successful in their objectives.Involve in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities in order to assist sales in closing dealsWork closely with Marketing to generate leads and opportunitiesCurrent Products that needs to be handled are HPE DELL EMC Nutanix VMWARE Commvault Cohesity etc.Provide product Trainings to Internal Sales TeamsCommercial Discussions with Principals if requiredDiscussions with OEM teams on Regular basisLiaising with Distributors for Product Availability and PricesHelp Sales close the deals on technical grounds if requiredCompetitive AnalysisManage the OEM partnership certifications and track the revenue threshold with each OEMKey QualificationsApplication knowledge.Analytical SkillsProduct KnowledgeDomain knowledgeConsultative sellingOEM certifications for Server Storage BackupCertifications on Cloud technologies will be an added advantageEducational QualificationsEngineering or EquivalentMinimum 12 15 years experience in large system Integration.Certifications RequiredHPE MASE PreferredCommvault CVSA PreferredServer & Storage CertifiedBackup Solution (Commvault / Cohesity / VEEAM) Technical CertificationToolsConfiguration Tools from OEM like HPE DELL Nutanix etc.Required ExperienceSenior IC#J-18808-Ljbffr
