Job Description As a Senior Network Security Engineer at the organization, your role involves developing and implementing the information security strategy to safeguard data, systems, and networks from potential threats. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the security architecture, ensuring all systems, applications, and networks are protected against security risks. Collaborating closely with IT and development teams, you will integrate security into every aspect of the technology stack. Your role also entails overseeing the security team, managing risk, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate for this position possesses strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity practices, and experience in managing large-scale security programs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and execute a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with the organization's business goals. - Develop and maintain the organization's network security architecture to meet current and future security requirements. - Assess and select security technologies and tools that align with the security strategy. - Lead the information security team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring for effective security operations. - Review and approve configurations for systems, networks, and applications to ensure compliance with security standards. - Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems. **Senior Network Security Engineer Responsibilities:** - Serve as the top-level technical escalation point for network security issues or requests. - Provide guidance to early and mid-career network security engineers. - Deliver knowledge-sharing presentations and documentation to educate teams on network security. - Assist in tools identification, onboarding, and ensuring network confidentiality, integrity, and availability. - Triage issues identified by tools, external reports, and tests to accurately assess risks. - Engage with staff and partners to provide secure access to systems in the network. - Develop application security policies, standards, and guidance documentation for secure product development. **Qualifications:** - Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, IT, or related field. - 13+ years of experience in Scrum teams management or related field. **Must-Have Skills:** - Expertise in managing enterprise deployments of ZTNA technologies like Netskope and Fortinet platform technologies. - In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, technologies, and best practices. - Strong understanding of security architecture frameworks and principles. **Good-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with network security, endpoint protection, and incident response. - Familiarity with creating regulated documents, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. **Professional Certifications:** - NSE 4, NSE 5 FortiManager, and CISSP (required). - Netskope Security Cloud Operation and Administration, NSE 5 FortiAnalyzer, and NSE 7 Advanced Firewall (preferred). **Soft Skills:** - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Ability to work effectively in global, virtual teams. - Initiative, self-motivation, and successful management of multiple priorities. - Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving collective goals. - Proficient in presentation and public speaking. - Development of strategic plans aligning with enterprise goals.
