Job Description As an L3 Oracle Database Administrator at our company, your primary responsibility is to provide advanced operational and technical support for mission-critical Oracle database environments. Your role will be crucial in ensuring stability, performance optimization, availability, and proactive issue prevention across production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 support for Oracle Database (12c/19c and above) in production environments
- Lead complex incident resolution, RCA, and performance troubleshooting
- Manage backup, recovery, DR, and high-availability configurations (RAC, Data Guard)
- Perform database upgrades, patching, and security hardening
- Drive SQL tuning and capacity planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with support, security, and audit requirements
- Collaborate with L1/L2 teams, application teams, and Oracle Support
- Participate in on-call and critical change activities
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database administration (SE2/EE)
- Hands-on experience with RAC, Data Guard, ASM, RMAN
- Proficiency in SQL tuning and performance diagnostics
- Experience with OEM / EM monitoring and alerting
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix platforms
Experience:
- 610 years of relevant Oracle DBA experience
- Prior experience in managed services or regulated environments preferred
