Sr. Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Expert with at least 5 years of experience to lead and support cybersecurity initiatives across the organization. The role combines technical cybersecurity expertise with managerial and coordination responsibilities, ensuring that security controls, policies, and risk management practices are effectively implemented.The candidate should also have a general understanding of cloud environments and security considerations during cloud migration, supporting the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesCybersecurity ManagementLead and coordinate cybersecurity initiatives across IT and business units.Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.Manage and guide cybersecurity team members and external vendors.Provide strategic recommendations to management on improving the organization’s cybersecurity posture.Ensure alignment with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS controls.Security OperationsSupervise vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, and remediation plans.Monitor and oversee security incident response and investigation activities.Ensure security monitoring tools and processes are effectively utilized.Support implementation of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, IAM, and DLP solutions.Cloud Security AwarenessParticipate in security discussions related to cloud adoption and migration projects.Ensure that basic security requirements are considered during migration to cloud environments.Work with cloud and infrastructure teams to identify potential cloud security risks.Governance & RiskConduct and review cybersecurity risk assessments.Support compliance with organizational and regulatory cybersecurity requirements.Report cybersecurity risks and performance metrics to senior management.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles.Experience in leading cybersecurity initiatives or managing security teams.Good understanding of cloud computing concepts and security considerations during cloud migration.Preferred CertificationsCISSPCISMAny cloud security certification is considered a plus.Key SkillsCybersecurity strategy and governanceSecurity operations and incident responseRisk management and complianceTeam leadership and stakeholder managementUnderstanding of cloud security fundamentals#J-18808-Ljbffr
