Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Completion Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing planning and executing completion operations for oil and gas wells. This is a full-time permanent position based at our headquarters in Houston Texas. Key Responsibilities: - Design and plan completion operations for oil and gas wells ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices. - Conduct technical analysis and provide recommendations for well completion designs including casing tubing and perforation strategies. - Develop and maintain completion procedures guidelines and best practices. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including drilling production and reservoir engineers to optimize well completion designs. - Monitor and analyze completion operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Manage completion budgets and ensure timely and cost-effective execution of projects. - Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and field personnel. - Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies in well completion techniques. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in completion engineering preferably in the oil and gas industry. - Strong knowledge of completion design principles wellbore mechanics and production optimization. - Experience with completion software and tools such as WellCat Prosper and PipeSim. - Familiarity with industry standards and regulations including API and ISO. - Excellent project management and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
