Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timeReports To: Project Manager / Civil Engineering ManagerJob PurposeThe Senior Civil Engineer will oversee civil engineering aspects of projects, ensuring designs, construction works, and deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and quality standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and experience in supervising civil engineering works.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Technical OversightReview and approve civil engineering designs, drawings, and calculations.Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.Project Supervision & CoordinationSupervise and monitor civil construction activities on-site.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants to achieve project objectives.Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.Quality & ComplianceConduct site inspections to ensure work meets design and quality standards.Ensure compliance with MME/UPDA requirements and local regulations.Implement corrective actions for any deviations or non-conformities.Documentation & ReportingPrepare progress reports, site instructions, and technical documentation.Maintain accurate records of design changes, site observations, and approvals.Support project managers in decision-making with technical insights.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Promote and ensure adherence to safety standards on-site.Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.Licenses & Certifications: MME/UPDA License (Mandatory).Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar senior civil engineering role.Technical Skills:Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other civil engineering software.Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and standards.Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings.Strong technical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and coordination abilities.Ability to work independently and lead small teams.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.Working ConditionsCombination of office-based and site-based work.Exposure to construction sites and varying environmental conditions.May require extended working hours based on project schedules.#J-18808-Ljbffr
