Job Description
Job Summary:To provide consultation and support in how to understand and navigate the carbon credit markets, developing strategies, navigating the complexities of carbon markets, both voluntary and compliance based. Support the development and commercialization of carbon credit initiatives within E‑Fund, ensuring strategic growth, revenue generation, and alignment with global carbon markets.Responsibilities & Accountabilities:Identify and evaluate potential carbon projects across various sectors, including nature-based solutions, and industrial decarbonization.Conduct due diligence to assess project feasibility, additionality, and alignment with recognized carbon standards (e.g., VCS, Gold Standard, CDM).Assist in establishing partnerships with project developers, NGOs, and local stakeholders to build a robust pipeline of investment‑ready projects.Contribute to the design and implementation of an innovative financing mechanisms, such as blended finance models, to attract both public and private capital.Collaborate with financial institutions to structure investment deals that balance risk and return while ensuring environmental integrity.Contribute to the development of the financial models to project returns, assess risks, and support investment decisions.Monitor carbon market trends, including pricing, regulatory changes, and emerging standards, to inform investment strategies.Analyze policy developments at international, national, and regional levels that impact carbon markets and investment opportunities.Maintain accurate records and documentation to support reporting requirements and investor confidence.Identify and mitigate risks associated with carbon investments, including project performance, regulatory compliance, and market volatility.Ensure adherence to environmental and social safeguards, as well as anti‑corruption and ethical standards.Pilot new approaches to carbon financing and project development to stay ahead of market trends.Explore emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance carbon project effectiveness and investment returns.Organize workshops and training sessions to build capacity among project developers and investors on carbon market participation.Job Requirements:Master’s / bachelor’s degree from accredited university in Business, Economy, Finance, Accounting, environmental science Economics, Project Management or a closely related field+9 years of experience in project management, financial modeling feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement & advisory, analytical and technical reporting skills.Skills & AbilitiesDeveloping project plan, defining scope, setting milestones, and ensuring execution and assessing project viability and management.Experience in financial modeling, report writing, and presentation generation.Oversee end to end lifecycle of carbon projects, from feasibility assessment and design to validation, verification and credit issuance.Familiarity with global carbon standards (Verra, Gold Standard).#J-18808-Ljbffr
