The hospital is dedicated to improving health outcomes, facilitating access to quality care and addressing the unique needs of military personnel, their families, and the broader community in the Northern Emirates.</p><p>The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing<strong>communication, speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders</strong>in post-acute rehabilitation patients. The role involves working with<strong>medically complex cases</strong>, delivering evidence-based, goal-oriented therapy to maximize functional communication and safe swallowing. The SLP will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery, participation in daily activities, and safe discharge planning.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Conduct<strong>comprehensive assessments</strong>of speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function in post-acute patients.</li><li>Develop and implement<strong>individualized, evidence-based therapy plans</strong>to address communication, cognitive, and swallowing deficits.</li><li>Provide<strong>therapeutic interventions</strong>to improve functional communication, cognitive-linguistic skills, voice, and safe swallowing.</li><li>Monitor and document patient progress using<strong>standardized outcome measures</strong>, adjusting therapy plans as needed.</li><li>Collaborate with the<strong>multidisciplinary rehabilitation team</strong>to ensure coordinated care, goal alignment, and safe discharge planning.</li><li>Educate patients, families, and caregivers on<strong>communication strategies, swallowing techniques, and home programs</strong>.</li><li>Ensure compliance with<strong>clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements</strong>in all therapy sessions.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in<strong>Speech-Language Pathology</strong>from a recognized institution.</li><li>Valid<strong>MOH / DHA / DOH license</strong>to practice as an SLP in the UAE.</li><li><strong>Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience</strong>in post-acute rehabilitation, neuro-rehabilitation, or similar settings.</li><li>Proven experience in managing<strong>neurological and medically complex cases</strong>, including swallowing and cognitive-communication disorders.</li><li>Strong knowledge of<strong>evidence-based assessment tools, therapy techniques, and outcome measurement</strong>.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within a<strong>multidisciplinary rehabilitation team</strong>to optimize patient outcomes.</li><li><strong>Must be able to join immediately</strong></li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
