Specifications Writer – Dubai

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Specifications Writer with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in writing and managing building / landscape specifications.This role includes writing specifications for landscape projects as per the company’s quality and design standards and regularly updating the company’s master specifications.Primary Responsibilities:Prepare specifications (MASTERFORMAT – CSI) and vendor list for all landscape projects with emphasis on Middle East.Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for material samples and technical information.Provide suitable responses to client’s queries related to specifications or materials.Keep abreast of the local standards, codes, and regulations related to landscape and associated works.Excellent working knowledge of CSI Manual, Masterspec & Masterformat 2004 (2020) & 95.Familiar with NBS and QCS.Good knowledge of international codes, construction detailing, building materials and manufacturers thereof.Sufficient experience in reviewing drawings, material samples, technical data sheets and construction details.High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat and working knowledge of CAD / Revit.Management and Corporate Competencies:Ability to work under pressure, multitask, manage priorities, meet timelinesA willingness to share information, learn and be trained in new skills.Ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a collaborative team.Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or another Construction‑related field.Minimum of 5 years in relevant field.Prior working experience in similar position with any architectural practice, engineering consultant, construction management or specification consulting firms.High proficiency in spoken and written English.All applications should be submitted by filling the form:(please state the level e.g. BA Hons Landscape Architecture)Do you possess experience working in this position or a similar position?No YesWhat is your notice period? *Available immediately 1 month more than 1 monthAdditional information (add a cover letter or anything you want to share)I agree to Cracknell Terms and Conditions and consent to my information being stored for the above purpose.
