Specialist - UI/UX

Dubai Media is looking for a UI/UX Specialist who is passionate about creating seamless digital journeys and enhancing how audiences interact with our platforms.In this role, you will contribute to the design and user experience of Dubai Media’s digital platforms, including websites, mobile applications, and digital products. You will focus on delivering visually compelling, accessible, and user-friendly experiences that align with business and content objectives.You will collaborate closely with product, editorial, marketing, and technology teams to translate user needs into effective design solutions. From research and wireframes to prototypes and final interfaces, you will support the full design process while working closely with developers and having a solid understanding of how designs are implemented technically.What you’ll doDesign and enhance user interfaces and digital experiences across Dubai Media platformsConduct user research to understand audience needs, behaviors, and motivationsDevelop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to visualize and test conceptsEnsure digital products are accessible and aligned with usability and accessibility best practicesContribute to design guidelines and UX standards to maintain consistency across platformsCollaborate closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and smooth implementationApply an iterative design approach, refining solutions based on feedback, analytics, and user testingSupport content consistency by aligning with messaging and content guidelines across digital touchpointsStay up to date with UI/UX trends, tools, and emerging technologiesBasic QualificationsMust be a UAE National (Emirati)Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably within digital media, technology, or content platformsStrong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and accessibility standardsExperience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern design toolsBasic to intermediate knowledge of front-end technologies (such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and an understanding of how designs translate into codeAbility to collaborate effectively with development teams and understand technical constraintsGood analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsFamiliarity with agile design and development environments is an advantage#J-18808-Ljbffr
