By working together every day, we’re bringing energy to life.</p><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>Contribute to provide the needful support to the line with regards to sustainability strategy, policies, procedures, initiatives, and qualitative&quantitative criteria; work closely with the line to update the team knowledge of timely information on company sustainability’s roadmap, concepts…etc. to ensure timely and desired contributions towards sustainability.</p><h3>Job Specific Accountabilities</h3><p><b>Sustainability Analysis</b></p><ul><li>Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of empirical data with particular focus on environmental data; i.e. emissions, flaring, carbon, water and waste including life-cycle analysis (LCA)….etc.</li><li>Calculate, review and analyse the greenhouse gas (GHG) / carbon emissions inventories, emission levels, flaring data, energy consumption…etc. in line with the sustainability criteria for the company.</li></ul><p><b>Sustainability Communications</b></p><ul><li>Represent the company in sustainability management events and sessions at ADNOC, local authorities and ADNOC Sustainability Steering Committee, as required.</li><li>Educate, train, discuss and communicate the related employees and stakeholders to ensure understanding and of the company sustainability policy, framework, goals, initiatives… etc.</li><li>Maintain and update sustainability’ policies, procedures, communications, forms and related materials which enable communicating and adhering to the function directions.</li><li>Participate in the development and implementation of sustainability and HSE educational programs, and training sessions, with a view to promoting employee awareness of hazards and effects of conditions with which they are in regular contact and how their actions can impact on the community and environment.</li></ul><p><b>Sustainability Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Contribute to data gathering for different sustainability reports ensure timely submission by the concerned function or team.</li><li>Record the sustainability’ status updates and milestones achievements in the related logs to ensure proper tracking of it.</li></ul><p><b>Sustainability Practices</b></p><ul><li>Facilitate the identification of opportunities and initiatives to improve sustainability performance within Company and drive in prioritizing implementation strategies to achieve targets.</li><li>Assess the sustainability performance for company’s units and functions in lien with sustainability’ plans, audits or calendar.</li><li>Contribute to developing systems, procedures and guidelines with defined accountabilities and responsibilities</li><li>Monitor the implementation of Sustainability Procedures and Practices to ensure the desired level of compliance by the related parties.</li><li>Work co-operatively with ADNOC Group of Companies to ensure that company sustainability goals and objectives are effectively managed and delivered.</li></ul><p><b>Minimum Qualification</b></p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry or Engineering</p><p><b>Minimum Experience, Knowledge&Skills</b></p><ul><li>8 years of experience, including at least 3 years of experience as Sustainability Specialist</li><li>Understanding of sustainability strategies and management systems</li><li>Knowledge of international sustainability standards, codes and work practices.</li><li>Hands-on Sustainability’ Reporting, Performance Assessments, and Analysis</li><li>Awareness of Product Stewardship and responsible sourcing.</li><li>Fluency in English Language; written and oral</li></ul><p>Revenues/ Budget: As per approved financial budget</p><p>Direct Reports: As per organization chart</p><p>Indirect Reports: As per organization chart</p><p>Professional Certifications</p><p>CSR, GRI G4, IPSM, ISO, ASQ, NIOSH, OSHA.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
