This vital role involves providing advanced medical care to athletes and active individuals, focusing on injury management, rehabilitation, and optimization of athletic performance. You will work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for those you serve.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics of sports-related injuries.Create and implement individualized treatment plans to support recovery and enhance performance.Collaborate with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other health professionals to deliver integrated care.Educate athletes and coaches about injury prevention strategies and wellness practices.Perform necessary interventions, including injections and therapeutic procedures.Stay updated on the latest sports medicine research and advancements.Engage in community outreach programs to promote health and fitness.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Completion of a residency in Sports Medicine or a related field.Board certification in Sports Medicine is highly preferred.A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in sports medicine.Strong background in injury prevention, management, and rehabilitation.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.Private Health InsuranceTraining & DevelopmentPerformance Bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
