If you’re ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic organization, a forward-thinking team and make an impact in one of the region’s leading retail environments, this is your opportunity to be part of something extraordinary.Job PurposeTo lead and manage all security operations within a retail mall environment while maintaining strong coordination with government authorities to ensure compliance, safety, and operational continuity.Roles and ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations ManagementOversee daily mall security operations including guards, supervisors, and control room staffDevelop and implement security policies, SOPs, and emergency response plansConduct risk assessments, site surveys, and vulnerability auditsMonitor CCTV systems, access control, and alarm systemsManage incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actionsLead crowd management during peak seasons, sales, and special eventsConduct Joint audits with security service provider to ensure as outlined in the security contract they are following SLAs/KPAs.Input the joint audit score in the FSI system followed by closing of the monthly PMS report.Perform the Duty Managers at various shifts.Attend major events and during public holidaysAttend and lead all VVIP and VIP visits by coordinating with protocol officeFollow up pending insurance cases with the support of admin team.Government Relations & ComplianceAct as the main point of contact with government authorities (Police, Civil Defence, Municipality, MCC, ITC, Protocol office etc.)Ensure compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, and safety regulationsCoordinate inspections and audits by government bodiesFacilitate approvals for events, expansions, and security system upgradesPrepare required documentation and reports for regulatory authoritiesEmergency & Crisis ManagementLead and coordinate emergency drills (fire, evacuation, medical incidents)Liaise with Civil Defence and emergency services during incidentsEnsure all tenants comply with safety and evacuation standardsLead crisis response team during major incidentsTenant & Stakeholder CoordinationSupport tenants with security requirements and event planningAddress security concerns from retailers and managementMaintain strong collaboration with mall management and operations teamsSubmit weekly and monthly security performance reportsAnalyse incident trends and recommend preventive measuresImplement technology upgrades to enhance security effectivenessQualificationsBachelor’s degree in security management, Business Administration, or related field (Preferably)Key RequirementsUAE National (mandatory)5+ years of experience in retail/mall security managementStrong knowledge of local government regulations and compliance proceduresExperience dealing with police, civil defence, and municipality authoritiesExperience in planning of VVIP/high profile visitsFluent Arabic and English (spoken and written)Proven senior experience in security operations, preferably in malls, retail, mixed-use assets, or large facilitiesStrong established network with authorities in Abu DhabiSolid knowledge of UAE security, safety, and regulatory frameworksStrong leadership presence with the ability to manage teams and vendors on-siteConfident, decisive, and comfortable operating in high-pressure situations#J-18808-Ljbffr
