Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT)Patients with mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease often have complex conditions with limited treatment options. Our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business unit is boldly pursuing an innovative portfolio of technologies to address a patient’s unmet clinical needs. Join us and be part of our inspiring journey.Purpose of the roleAssess new product and procedure development, patient selection criteria development, patient screening, and early clinical imaging training/case support for both novel and iterative devices.How you’ll make an impactAnalyze, summarize, and present clinical baseline, procedural, and follow‑up imaging (e.g., CT, echo, MRI, angiography) to provide inputs that support new product and procedure development and to support event investigations.Analyze imaging and/or oversee third‑party image analysis of one imaging modality for one therapy for patient screening and contribute an opinion to the assessment of potential cases for early feasibility and clinical study candidates or commercial case support.Collaborate with Commercial case support teams, or NPD team and HCPs to develop imaging patient selection criteria and screening protocols.Manage the full screening process by updating the information in the patient shared databases (Salesforce and SharePoint), assigning tasks to the appropriate internal and external contributors, monitoring the advancement and requesting updates.Lead one imaging modality for one therapy screening review calls with Field Clinical Specialists and circulate appropriate screening evaluation documentation.Other incidental duties.What you’ll needEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in biological or life sciences, animal science, or other related scientific or technical field.Experience: 3 years of previous in‑hospital and/or industry clinical echocardiographic experience.Certification: RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) within ARSMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or equivalent certification.Experience: 5 years of previous related experience.Fluent English required.What else we look forGood computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.Good imaging analysis software skills (e.g., 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.).Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills in English.Able to guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operation.Demonstrated problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.Team‑work skills, fostering collaboration between inter‑departmental teams, HCPs, and KOLs.Strong knowledge of one relevant imaging equipment operation (e.g., 2D or 3D TTE/TEE/ICE, CT, MRI, etc.) and screening methodology of one therapy.Solid knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imaging.Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines.Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices.Strict attention to detail.Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.Adherence to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and control measures to prevent injuries and protect the environment.What is it like to work at Edwards Lifesciences in United Arab EmiratesAs a global leader in patient‑focused medical innovations, we offer rewarding opportunities and exciting challenges in a truly international, dynamic and friendly work environment.
