" Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our fine dining restaurant in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to create exceptional culinary experiences for our discerning guests.Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing Room service & Fine Dining orders &operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentationDevelop and implement innovative menu items, focusing on both local and international cuisinesTrain, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain excellent culinary standardsManage food cost control, inventory, and kitchen budgetsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environmentCollaborate with the front-of-house team to enhance guest satisfaction and address any culinary concernsStep in for the Executive sous Chef when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skillsParticipate in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation improvements Qualifications Culinary degree or diploma from a reputable culinary schoolMinimum 5 years of experience in fine dining restaurants, with at least 2 years in a leadership roleProven expertise in advanced culinary techniques, menu development, and kitchen managementStrong knowledge of international cuisines, particularly Middle Eastern and WesternExcellent food cost control and inventory management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate a kitchen teamUp-to-date food safety certificationProficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office suiteStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentCreativity and passion for culinary innovationFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusAbility to work in Saudi Arabia (valid work visa or citizenship)
