Job Description

Legacy telecom software follows a fundamentally flawed model: oversized BSS/OSS architectures, implementations spanning multiple years, constant customization cycles, and suppliers who normalize delay. Operators face pressure to capitalize on 5G investments, accelerate MVNO launches, modernize wholesale operations, and break free from vendor lock‑in—yet the platforms they rely on were designed to resist transformation.

Totogi operates on a fundamentally different architecture, and this is not a traditional BSS vendor position:

Three production systems, no vaporware: You’ll demonstrate a serverless 5G Charging system, a cloud‑native Wholesale BSS solution, and the Telco Ontology—an AI‑powered knowledge graph enabling LLMs to interpret a customer’s complete telco infrastructure. These are deployed, operational products. Not future promises.

Deployment measured in weeks, not years: Totogi delivers as SaaS on AWS. You won’t be justifying 18‑month rollouts. You’ll present customers with a solution that deploys rapidly, with live proof.

You drive the technical outcome: Discovery sessions, product demonstrations, solution architecture, RFP execution. You build the technical argument. You’re not a supporting role. You’re not secondary.

You compete directly with legacy leaders: Amdocs, Ericsson, Nokia—armed with product differentiation they cannot replicate in architecture, deployment speed, or economics.

This position centers on securing technical wins in competitive deals. You’ll execute customized demonstrations, facilitate discovery processes, architect solutions, and deliver precise RFP submissions across all three Totogi offerings. You must possess sufficient telecom expertise to discuss charging mechanics, billing logic, CRM architecture, product catalog design, integration patterns, 5G protocols, migration challenges, and rating complexity—while connecting technical detail to commercial outcomes in real time.

You’ll function at the intersection of product capability, sales strategy, and customer context. Your deliverables must accelerate deal momentum, support accurate scoping, and convert to measurable revenue.

What You Will Be Doing

Delivering customer demonstrations that showcase the interface and functional scope of Totogi’s product portfolio.

Conducting interviews with customer subject matter experts to surface technical constraints, pain points, and success criteria.

Creating detailed solution scopes for the Professional Services organization, aligning customer needs with Totogi’s product architecture.

Producing RFP responses that demonstrate how Totogi’s solutions address technical and business requirements within structured procurement frameworks.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Owning sales responsibilities or closing commercial agreements with customers.

Producing templated Solution Scopes that ignore the unique context of each customer engagement.

Conducting sales enablement sessions or managing administrative overhead.

Solutions Architect Key Responsibilities

Securing technical wins that progress sales opportunities across Totogi’s three product offerings (Telco Ontology, AI‑Native Charging, Wholesale BSS Platform).

Basic Requirements

Minimum of 5 years in presales, solution architecture, or sales engineering roles focused on telco BSS/OSS solutions.

Proven track record managing technical sales processes for charging, billing, BSS engagements, and lead‑to‑cash workflows.

Demonstrated capability to deliver impactful product demonstrations and engage with senior technical and executive audiences.

Hands‑on experience writing code that integrates with APIs (GraphQL, REST).

Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours for a global position, serving customers and prospects concentrated in APAC, with additional coverage in EMEA and Americas.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

#J-18808-Ljbffr
